Lets wake up

Bombs blast and people die
Sparks fly and mothers cry
Wars continue as if for ever
Hatred grows, love never

Trains blow up in pieces
Air raids happen, a village vanishes
So much blood shed for a piece of land
After death aren’t we all part of the sand

Man kills man in god’s name
Aren’t all religions, but the same
If only we could wait and see
That there is God in you and me

Love is in every creature on earth
We were all innocent at birth
If only we could wait and pause
And think to realize that there’s no cause

People disappear but we carry on
It happens to us, but life just goes on…..

Breeze

We have all moved on
Life has gone ahead so fast
But there are still some threads
Entangled far into the past.

These strands pulling you
Back and forth, now and then
To those unforgettable moments
As in your thoughts you unfold them

Crystal clear before your closed eyes
Even today, As if you were
Right there and the past is the present
Happening right now, right here

How you wish that time could halt
And the moment could just freeze
But some thing wakes you up to realize
That life has flown past like a breeze

Eroding Stone

So far away from home, I am
I feel like an eroding stone
Stuck, stranded and still
Can’t move cant go at his will

The winds come erode me
Take my dust to the other world
The rains wash me with their tears
Drench out memories and leave only fears

The rivers bath me over
The seas cleanse me in their waves
Take my memories, they take them home
Make me feel like an eroding stone

my heart somewhere; my mind somewhere;
With a body motionless
Only a miracle can come and push me
So I can roll back home and be free.

Leaving home..

As one chapter closes and the other opens
Her heart cannot part with the closing pages
Her heart can’t come to terms with this eclipse
The darkness it beings in, makes her feel the emptiness

Feels like she hasn’t had enough of anything
Her heart yearns to go back to the restless
To the care free, to the cared, to the memories
To the innocence, to her home…..

To the fun, to the laughter, to family
Hoping not, but knowing
That a dark shadow may be cast
Over what life was like in the past

She knows its not that bad
Yet her heart is just sad
She is aware of the coming happiness,
Yet is there a hidden ache some where

Her eyes will turn and look back
Far deep into the past
And her heart will always long and say
“I wish my childhood could just last…..”

The sea

The sea, the waves, the breeze,
The serenity, unruffled, so calm I feel.

An aroma intoxicating in the air,
As I run my fingers in the sand,
Below my feet sweeping away
Is the sea, the cold land

The roar of the waves,
Run down my spine, mount and fade.
My eyes tightly shut,
In its music, I rejoice, I bathe.

Slowly fading into a deep red
The golden hue allover from the sun,
Making its way deep into the sea
Far away on the endless horizon.

The sand still cold and calm,
The sky getting darker, the sea, fierce,
The naked beach as I sit on,
The moon glitters and the ocean cheers

The beach getting married to the sea,
As I watch the celebration,
The twinkling stars rejoice,
The beach bathing in the moon lit ocean.

The sea filled with a thousand desires,
The lustful waves rising higher
Engulfing the whole shore, with me
Bathing me in its hunger.

As the night goes, calm its gets,
And on the shore, I lie asleep.
Waiting for dawn when the sun breaks
To another day, and the world awakes
